Compared with horizontal milling machines, the main difference between vertical milling machines is that the spindle is arranged vertically. In addition to the different spindle arrangement, the worktable can be raised and lowered. The milling cutter used in vertical milling machines is relatively flexible and has a wider range of applications. Vertical milling cutters, machine-clamped cutter heads, drill bits, etc. can be used. Keyways, planes, boring holes, etc. can be milled.
The worktable has three types of feeding in the X/Y/Z direction: manual feeding, motorized feeding and motorized fast feeding. The feeding speed can meet different processing requirements; fast feeding can make the workpiece reach the processing position quickly, making processing convenient and fast, and shortening the non-processing time.
The guide rails in the three directions of X, Y and Z are processed by ultrasonic quenching, precision grinding and scraping, and combined with forced lubrication to improve the accuracy and extend the service life of the machine tool.
The lubrication device can force lubricate the longitudinal, transverse and vertical screws and guide rails to reduce the wear of the machine tool and ensure the efficient operation of the machine tool; at the same time, the cooling system changes the flow of coolant by adjusting the nozzle to meet different processing requirements.
